Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
I just wanted to ask, what length of rope do you guys use? 60, 70, 80'? Why?
65ft and why what? Did we ride when it that cold out or why do we ride at 65ft?

at 65'. Do you look at you wake at speed and guess how far back it is? Mine seems to have a very wide wake from peak to peak.
It all depends on speed and level of riding. You want to ride as far back as you can. But if you can't make it wake to wake at 65 ft there is no reason to ride at 70-80 ft. Or if you ride at 65 and you are landing way out in the flats you want to ride at 70-80 ft

However, be careful with going too far in also. I don't think you want to be any closer than 60 feet. I tried it at 55 feet one time and everything moves so fast!!!!!!

I have to agree I was in FL last month and I could not believe how warm the water was. But a good dry suit and a heater on the boat and everything is good. It keeps life interesting going again next week.

Hey, we had a gal go last week in just her board shorts and a heater top. Water temp 60, air temp 64. She put all the other guys in the boat to shame (they all wore dry suits). We didn't even have a heater on the boat. She did admit to being cold...
