wet sounds pro 80's how wet

How will a down pour of rain affect a pair of pro 80's. Can they get rained on for several hours and be ok?

I sure hope there is no impact whatsoever... If I am not mistaken, a good number of tower speakers sit out in the elements.

I have 8" Bazooka Tubbies that are never covered and my boat sits outside 24X7X365. There has been no effect on them.

They're designed to get wet. My inboat speakers have gotten wet numerous times without any ill side-effects. You probably want to dry them off on the outside, but that's about it.

I have had my 485s in several down pours while on the water and traveling -- no problems so far.

All Wet Sounds are designed to handle normal weather conditions. We install them and park them outside and have never had a problem.

That is one of the advantages of there design. They are built with the minimal amount of pieces that can get damaged by water. I am sure there is something somewhere in them that can be ruined by water but I think it would have to take a lot of water to do that. Send WetSounds a PM he will give you the best answer for this question.
