    What to do in Texas ?

    Hey guys;
    I just found out that I will be making a trip to Woodlands Texas for a few days in Feb. I will be there for 4 days, but only about 2 days of work to do. My client is putting us up at the Woodlands Resort and Conf. Center.
    Is there any must do, or must see things that I don't want to miss?

    1. Houston Tige' dealer is in the Woodlands.
    2. If you want to ski, I am about 30 minutes from there
    If its not fun, Why do it?

      Texas Tige is close by and so is Lake Conroe, which I believe is where skyski_tige is also located. A bit further away is the M2 sports lake. There's a outdoor concert venue (Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion) that has shows fairly often. It's right near a large outdoor shopping mall and some pretty good restaurants.

      I go down to Houston quite a bit (our headquarters are right near the Galleria). Let me know the exact dates if you want to meet up somewhere.

        Cynthia Woods is shutdown due to Ike. It has about 9 million in damage.

        There are definitely alot of good restaurants in that area.

          Greg, I actually live in the Woodlands. Great area.

          Sky is correct, the Cynthia Woods Pavillion is shut down due to storm damage but there are still a lot of things to do. The area you are staying is very close to great restaurants and shopping. Also, if you like golf, there is a pretty good course right at the resort you are staying at.

          In addition, there is the local Tige dealer very close and Lake Conroe is only about 1/2 away. I won't be in town during that time otherwise I would gladly offer to show you around.

          Hope you enjoy your stay!!

            Bummer. We saw Linkin Park there back in August. It was a lot of fun!
