    ATTWOOD Bilge Pump

    Guys,
My War Eagle 'Duck Boat''s attwood v625 bilge pump has quit pumping. It runs, but puts no water out.
Does anyone know the difference in attwood v vs. tsunami pumps??

Tsunami is a line of pumps made by Attwood but dont know what the diff between the V series and Tsunami series other then the Tsunamis have a replaceable motor cartridge v's replacing the whole asm if it fails. Pull pump out and check to see if the inlet is clogged, may just need cleaned.

Check to see if the outlet is broken off and if it spraying water back into the boat.

I took it off and it just appears to not have any pumping pressure. I checked the outlot pipe to see if plugged and it was clear. I think it is just worn out. I think Walmart has a tsunami and I would buy it if there is not much difference in the pumps, instead of ordering one online and having it shipped.

They are both manual pumps made by same company. Only plus buying same pump is you could use the exisiting base

I installed the Tsunami 500gph in place of the V625 last night. It is what Wal-Mart had that fit my outlet pipe. I was able screw the tsunami base to the V625 base.
filled the bottom of the boat with water and the verdict is ... IT WORKS.

Easy Fix and thanks guys for your input..
