    Interior upgrade

Ok, so its now winter up here and its time for me to do my winter upgrades and I need some input. I am going to make a shelf to go over my ballast bags in back I am tired of getting my lifejackets smashed and I was wondering should I use plywood or use a composit marine board. Second I would like to match my carpet in the boat any ideas where I can get a color code or match. thanks in advance

I'm looking into doing the same thing on our 24v

Im thinking about a 2 section lid and fibreglassing the sidebraces in place maybe 1X1 wood glassed do you know any body that has done this? I think that the wet sounds boat look at the thread about 13 pics in and that is what I would like but not sure on materials or carpet yet

I would definitely use a Starboard type faux-wood. If you use plywood, you would want to encapsulate it in resin or it wont last.

Your dealer can get the carpet from Tige. I would also check a couple local upholstery shops to see what they may able to get for you.

As CHP said, Starboard all the way! Use 3M Super 77 spray glue to hold the carpet, works awesome.

I like the Starboard better than the wood, but does anybody know the carpet weight and color code? or if this info is located on the boat? I would like to order online
