    November Water Skiing in Colorado

    Here are a couple pictures from today 11-18-08 at Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins. Air temp was around 60 and water was 49.

    Horsetooth has water in it?!?!? It sure was a nice day out today, glad to see someone was able to go out and enjoy it!

      Nice pics H2O, I took my son wakeboarding Sunday for his birthday. Air temp was 49 and water was 68 with power plant warm water discharge into the lake.

        Its really low you have to use the second ramp on the south side, but it doesn't seem like its gone down anymore in the last month!!

          I went out Satuday. Water was 68 air was 86. It was great.

                Looks like you heated the water temp. up a few degrees with that carving.

                  For all intents dragging an elbow in choppy pucker cold water is a feat of manliness I will never henceforth emulate. I bow to the alpha among us. Where shall we assemble for the leftovers my liege?

                  And to think I all but bookmarked the thread on drysuits. Oh the shame. Does it count that I once skied Big Bear Lake early on a fall morning with heavy frost on the dock? We didn't know no water temperatures then.
