I agree those racks look sweet, however with all that innovation I would think they could have done better than those cheap tie down cords. Just my 2cents.

Overall they look nice. But two things stick out to me. It looks like the rack is upside down with the longer forks on top, not longer forks on the bottom. This also provides less support for the boards. Also the angle of the forks is fairly horizontal. Beside looking odd not having a little more vertical angle, this puts more force or pressure on the support joint. The moment created by the boards laying nearly flat is much greater. Also they will stick out further when docking, etc. But overall a nice look.

they prob. had to keep the boards flatter to avoid them hitting the tower speakers. Swivel racks are very nice though. they look great. most companies now are having the boards lay pretty much flat, dont really know why but it looks better in my opinion.

Does anyone know if you can add other tower speakers besides the wetsounds to that new tower? Its gonna be real expensive if thats the only kind that will fit.

I'll bet that the longer fork was supposed to be on the bottom. I can't help but think it is mounted upside down.

They look awesome, functional and very sturdy. Way to go Tige!

I like how the tower lowers and raises. I thought my new sampson was easy until I saw the Alpha Z go back up. Wow looks easier with that spring loading.

The hook to attatch the cord is on the bottom back side of the fork, the bungee comes out of the fork mount on the top so it would wrap around the boards. So I think the orietation is correct. make sense?

yes since I've used the racks on my buddy's bu that have the same bungees. they are pretty nice. The little ball part snaps into the cutout on the bottom fork which makes it easy to undo. To tighten you just throw the bungees over and pul them down and you're locked and loaded.

I like 'em. The swivel mechanism is smoother than the MC "lotta flex" but I still like theirs better because of the the clamp down system. Overall the Tigé Alpha is the best tower/rack combo on the market IMO.
