Can anyone tell me how a boat like this would be for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. If I buy it the dealer is going to add a monster tower. What are these boats going for?

It's small, but I bet you can get a decent surf wake from it. Go to www.howtowakesurf.com. The guy's name is Larry Mann and he's got an older Tige 20i that they surf behind all the time (that's pretty much all they do).Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Welcomw to the site
Sweet looking older boat from the shots you have.
Monster Towers and Samson Razor tower are good choices for that boat. The Samson does get very pricey when you add a lot of options. $3500 base + shipping but rack options, lights, pre-wiring etc. add up quick. Monster towers and priced lower and get the job done for significantly less than the cost of the Samson Razor.
Good luck.
I am fortunate/ unfortunate because my original tower was ruined when I tried to go under an overhang that was 11 inches too low. Fortunately it is a win win for me because insurance picks up all but the first $500 and I get a better tower than stock E- Series and the screwup I made happened at basically the end of season.
Good luck in your choice of both boat and tower. I like the looks of the boat looks very clean. Welcome to TigeOwners

Oh ya, wakeboarding wake. Obviously you'll want some more weight in the thing. I would expect a bit of white water on the lip but nothing a decent rider can't overcome. The thing to remember is that boat was designed as a slalom machine first. It's a flat bottom D-drive. It will have long, smooth transitions, a fairly wide table with a bit of white water on the lip. The size, with ballast will be deceptive. It'll bigger than it looks just due to the shape. However, of all the boats of that "vintage", it's going to do better than just about all of them in all categories. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

That looks to be a 94' or 95' 2002flsm comp, same exact hull as my old 2000slm comp. To wakeboard with any kind of ramp at all you'll have to add ballast sacs as someone already stated it's a slolam/ski boat. These hulls have deep spray pockets on each side so while the ski wake will rock a boader will be pelted pretty good with wake disruption.
Forget wakesurfing unless you want to be a submarine, period. These hulls sit extemely low in the back, only about a foot clear of waterline. If you add ANY weight to just the one side you will definately take water over the side and rear at some point. I remember I did a test one time with mine at surf speeds the water being about 10-12" above the transom ON the platform and that was without weight or listing the boat! Not to mention the spray pocket will jack up the wave face probably."Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!

to weight that boat for a solid wakeboard wake you need to put v-drive sacs on each side of the motor and move as far back as possible and then a 600 in the front walkway.
then to surf put the 600 on the back seat and a v-drive on your surf side. and see what it does.
If the dealer is selling it to you as able to do it.....make him show you. tell'm you want a test drive and to bring his sacs. I would take a test run w/o weight first and then weight it to see the diff.
If you don't like it then don't buy no matter what the deal is.
