If I remember reading the FAQ right...isn't posting boats for sale against the rules here? I just tried looking for that specific rule and can't find it. Perhaps I had too much beer that night.

Or not enough...

Yes it was a rule but has been changed.
Like skyski_tige said please post in the classifieds section.
I have to say that I agree with Skyski, although I disagreed with him on a previous posting about the RZ4 that was for sale.
I defended that the RZ4 was OK because the deal was so smokin' that it deserved general discussion publicity. That boat is going for 15K below low book value and that is remarkable. It might even sell for 18K below low book. WOW! The fact that there are 5 pages of discussion also supports the interest level there.
Now guys are all over with deals that are OK, but not in the same league as the RZ4 deal. I prefer to keep them in the classifieds as well. Maybe if the discussion were started by anyone but the seller, it would be better.
I agree that it's a little annoying that people post classifieds in the general area, but most of the people posting there aren't regular posters and are probably leaving the site anyways. unfortunately, those people won't care if they are annoying regulars.

Tall,
I did not post anything under the RZ4... I did not make my comment until the 3rd or 4th boat for sale showed up in general discussion. People can post where they want but seems like they would get more views in the correct section.
Thanks! I also felt the deal on the RZ4, that on one has taken yet, was such a deal for someone. Not everyone can go buy a $70-80K boat but to buy one for nearly 50% that's 14 months old is insane. $40K is in the range for aot of buyers and you are right it is a smokin' deal. There are 2 guys kickin' it around and if they act fast they will own it, if not, I am trying like mad to move some inventory and if so, I will own it and officially be back in a Tige`. We loved our 24Ve and sold it to buy the Epic, take on as a dealer for them actually, but it has been tough for our lil' one's 5 & 7 to learn behind as the wake w/o ballast is too much for a 45# kid to learn on. They were riding behind our Tige` with no problem but now have gotten discouraged as they can only ride outside the wake. Anyway, again thanks!

That is a sweet deal... After keeping my boat for 8 years, I finally pulled the trigger on a RZ2 last May. The RZ4 had my perfect color combo. If only I would have waited another 5 months...
Don't most of you just use the "New Posts" link anyway? I don't even look at which area threads are in half the time.
That's what I do.....
