    Bimini rear support

I own a 1998 2100i purchased a couple of months ago. I have rear straps on my bimini top. I would like to keep the bimini on board when it is not being used. Any draw backs on purchasing and installing rear support poles? Should I get adjustable or cut to specific length poles?

    Thanks

I have a 96 v-drive and added the cut to length supports to my Bimini. I can uncover the boat in the back yard put the Bimini supports in place and drive to the lake (5 miles). That way it is up out of the way until the sun starts to shine to hot. The only draw back is that people won't grab it like a handrail while getting in and out of the boat.
