I have a D70 I've had for a couple 4 years now. It makes me a good photographer.
It was explained to me that Nikon's focus (particularly tracking) technology is superior to Olympus and Canon. So let's say you are shooting a wakeboarder approaching the wake and you are focused on the board. Once the board hits the wake, water now becomes the closest object to the camera which causes some cameras to lose the intended subject. Nikon's technology locks the focus on the subject, so technically when he face plant's, you still have the board in focus.
Bottom line is you are choosing (may have already chosen) between 2 very good cameras. I doubt you'll be disappointed in either one. And the benefit of buying from Costco is you can return it!Comment
