I have 1 light and it's under the swim platform, 2 would be cooler. I have the standard bulb version, I have heard that the LED version is much better. If I were to order a new boat, I would get 2.
We have a single transom light on ours, it's a bulb, not LED's like what's available now. It's enough to light the wake for the surfer, but not enough to snap pics with out the flash, so I plan to add more lighting. Not sure if it will be an additional transom light or a string of LED's around the swim platform, probably the later. My goal is to be able to get good pics and video with flash or extra lighting because it kill the of night surfing

I know, I keep talking about my friend's transom lights, but they are soooo close to selling some, they are in production right now, they just had some of the first ones promised out already from a couple trade shows that they went to in the last few weeks that they can't afford to try to sell any yet and get behind in production.
Here's without a flash

Out of the water, and yes the wires will go inside once I get a non r&d set, these are flush mountable with the wire out the back so you will see no wire once mounted.

I have 2, but I have yet to put it in the water. Taking her to Austin this weekend to get stereo install, if she is ready next weekend we are going to take her out in Austin.

Those lights look so sweet, I would love to add some to my boat. I like the ones that your buddies are doing mtnsmith, because you don't have to drill holes in the transom, they are external and submersible. Keep us in the loop and let us know when they can be available to us fellow tige' owners.
Questions to those who have these, has anyone ever been harrased by police or game wardens with these on while underway?
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!
In production right now, they should have a website up and running in the next week or two. They are figuring out how much they need to recoup right now to see what kind of deal they can make me to pass on to you-all. Yes, my trailer is dipped in saltwater almost every weekend and usually a couple weekdays per month. It has lasted a lot longer than I thought it would honestly. It is looking bad now and we are shopping for a trailer as we speak. With the slump in the boat market here quite a few trailer manufacturers have come down in price from when I called them a year ago. I''ll pass on the website and price of lights as soon as they figure that out. Thanks for the compliments.

Yes, but only the green ones. Given that the green and red lights seen on the water designate the front/side of the boat, red and green channel markers...having a bright green light on the back of the boat would be a nono. Now, I doubt every johnny law will care, but a couple around here have expressed concerns about having green or red ones on while underway. However, they did like how visible the boat was with the blue ones on while underway. They said it looked like a jet afterburner behind the boat, a good 50-foot blue flame out the back, they definitely draw attention on a small boat.
