It looks like the rope is tied to the tower. But I hope that it is really only looped over the tower and actually is being held by someone sitting and watching in the back of the boat. That way they can let go of the rope if she falls and not be dragged until she comes out of the bindings. That is an amazing feat for such a young child. This past summer I got my 6 year old grandson up and thought we were doing good. Way to go!

Reason: clarification
That is great. You can't get them started early enough

Very nice video. I had our kids up on skis at that age, but never thought about a wakeboard. Will have to try it with our grandkids (when we ever get some).
Thanks for all the nice comments. Yes I am very proud and looking forward to next year especially now that all 3 of my kids can ride. No more start stop...start stop...start stop...start stop..............................
That’s outstanding, my wife and I are expecting a baby girl December 31, 2008. This weekend we were discussing how old she will need to be before she can try to ride. I guess I now know, thanks for sharing.
I just watched the original tape. You can see her making faces and smiling the whole time. It's a bummer the video lost so much quality when posted on youtube.
