Thanks guys...that all makes perfect sense now. It really didn't bother me that much, it was just more the fact that it was a used boat, and I wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with the boat. My offset rudder probably explains the fantastic ability to turn in reverse (sarcasm).

And I've been spelling rudder wrong...maybe that is why I couldn't find that previous thread.
