It would be a small profit to prevent sitting on it too long

I a nutshell, i've lost 20k Damn good thing I love this boat and planned on keeping it for a long time from the beginning.
If you did decide to sell it, I would definatley clean all the mildew off the seats! I took a look under your boat cover this past week at Dom's....WOW! I had no idea what color your seats where. It must be that carpet you love so much? I got an idea Buy a Sunbrella cover. You'd be absolutely amazed how much that cover lets moisture out.

Mildew on your boat seats is like dried pee on a toliet seat.
    Would you sit on that?

    DAMN CARPET!

    Cheers!

Out of my concern for all Tiges that may be trashed, I am afraid that I am going to have to re-distribute all Tige's to lower income families

For those of you that don't like ranting, like I usually don't, I appologize in advance.

Well, now that I have verified that it was my boat he was shown at Dom's(FIC), our local dealer, I would have to say yes I am insulted and impressed with this guys arrogance and ignorance. Not only did Jake blast the wrong person with no apology to Chpthril, but he also is completely ignorant to the issues that have plagued me with the white vinyl in that boat. I doubt you noticed, but the other colors of vinyl are perfect. For some reason the white vinyl has held on to the mildew stains from the mildew that surfaced over a year ago. I know the newer vinyl is much better resisting vinyl and FIC has done all they could to help including a couple seat skins. There has not been more than a couple mildew spots in the boat since then. And as far as the sunbrella cover, do you work for them or something??? You preached about it in the boat cover thread and now we get more of it. I realize breath-ability is important, that is why I don't cover it with the snug cover at home, I put a big tarp up over the tower with the ends tied out to allow maximum breath-ability. Jake's arrogance has gotten the better of me as I usually leave the bashing to the WW crowd, but he has made lots of waves here with a relatively small number of posts. Blasting someone trying to help you find graphics ideas, telling someone their tower lights are crap, telling me my boat looks like dried pee on a toilet seat...I wonder what's in store next? And your story about having your boat towed off the sandbar by seatow, makes me think you should probably not buy an inboard! I think you should just keep your cobalt, they are nice boats, I'd rather not have you as a Tigeowner anyways.

Chpthril, Your boat looks really really nice. I mistaken your boat for someone elses. Sorry bout that.

The boat I saw look like hell. I asked the Tige dealer if all the mildew, dirt, grime, stale food, soda stains, and who knows what the funny yellow color was.....I just wanted to know if it was normal and how does it get cleaned up, or if it could get cleaned up.

It gave me a lot of reservation and fear thinking about how I would clean my (next) Tige after a day of 5 kids.

Dom showed me a new boat rug (flooring) today and put all my fears to rest.

                          I feel better now.
