Fit to be Tied - - Meaning furious, enraged, as in "I've been waiting for two hours and am fit to be tied". This expression implies anger so extreme that it requires physical restraint. [Late 1800s]
I grew up in the midwest and "fit to be tied" was a rather familiar / common expression... or maybe I just made my parents that furious
Seemed like a cool play on the old saying... sorta like my Tige is the perfect antidote for work, stress or whatever else ails ya, and oh by the way, you'd better stay pretty darn fit to keep up with the Tige.
