My wife loves to quote lines from movies and we had just watched Talladega Nights, so whenever it was her turn to board out to the lake she would say "shake-n-bake"

Go over the falls on a 20 footer at Todos Santos, that must have been fun. I guess you can be thankful that they don't call you dead.

HoopyKat was my IRC nickname back in the 90's, so I pretty much use that for everything online. Just sounded cool, and it's more acceptable than using a name more applicable to me, like dumba$$...heh.

This is a great post! It answers a lot of questions that you can't help but wonder about.

Paublo... My first name is Paul, and living in the southwest, I've had the nickname, Pablo for many years. My kids mis-spelled it Paublo, and that has stuck.
