Thanks guys for the kind words. I'm not sure where the sport may take him, but want to provide him the opportunity. There are a lot of riders his level and Benj does not put winning comps as his primary goal. He tells me he wants to people recognize him for his style or "Steez", which was a new word to me.

He finished 5th at nationals last year and 12th this year in Bakersfield. He was content with the lower finish, because he felt like he rode well and went big. He still hasn't taken off his wrist band from competition, so I know he had a good experience.

I really like the INT format since there are divisions for all age and skill levels. Competing is not for everyone, but INT a good way to find out if your son or daughter has an interest. Benjamin is one of four sons, so I try my best to balance all their interest. Hopefully we'll be going to some different events next summer, such as the Carolina Wake Series.

With the publishers permission I will share an article that is coming out this month in a regional wakeboarding magazine, which profiles him.
