I would love to compete but not many hydrofoil tournaments in Texas. I don't like to travel to events so I need to find local events. Mostly just free ride for fun.
If its not fun, Why do it?

Both of my boys compete, my oldest is working hard to be one of the lucky break throughs and make it pro, doing well in getting there but still a long hard road. We attended all of the CWS comps this summer (Carolina Wake Series) Finished 2nd in championship points, we also did East Coast Wakefest and a few other misc tournaments. I myself will compete in surfing with the old farts when and if there is time. Surfing usually is the last event of the day and often gets axed due to not enough time.
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

You will be warmly welcomed as a Utah resident! Regarding the mormon part, we could send over a couple well dressed guys or girls!

                          Thanks dogbert!
This has been my son's second year competing in what he loves to do the most. If it was not for INT and my boys interest in being on the water we probable would not own a Tige today. Benj learned to wakeboard behind my fathers 17' Larson with an 85hp Evinrude. I've heard him tell people that he would not be wakeboarding if his grandfather did not own a lake house and boat.

This has been a really fun summer watching him progress. I don't think he will ever have such a steep learning curve again or if I could take it. There were a lot of tricks that came after only a few attempts, but others took hours. One day he refused to leave the water without landing a switch toe-side 540...needless to say I changed our stiff steering cable.

Best of all is the time we spend with our family and friends. We have also made good friends across the state and country. We always pull for the Tige riders in all divisions!

Benj T. with his signature trick a huge stalefish in the flats! This is behind our 22i!

Benj is an amazing rider. To be able to ride at his level after learning his first invert back in April is pretty inspiring (if you're young, otherwise it's depressing).

Benj - That kid is going to go far. It's amazing the air that he is getting at his age!

Both of my sons compete in show ski competition, barefoot, wakeboard and 2 ski jump , the skiing has made us a very close family skiing most weekends and now with their girl friends both being skiers, we are on the water as much as possible.
