Who here competes or has a family member that competes?

Ok, I'm still coming off the high of an INT US Championship where my son and Eddie Trogden's son were able to compete. Tige's a sponsor of these events and after our first full year in INT, we really had a great time. My son's been inspired to really push himself and will be competing more. I know there are at least a couple of other tigeowners out there who compete as well.

So, let's see a show of hands. Who competes and where?

I'm all for just riding with friends/family and just having a good time. That's what boarding is all about for us

We compete in just about every wakesurf contest in the nation and also organize and host several each summer. USA Waterski is the sanctioning body under their National Wakeboard League grassroots arm. It's great fun.

I made the decision a long time ago that I wasn't going to enter into events. I find it more rewarding to ride for myself, this way I never forget why I ride in the first place. For the fun of it

              Cool, great responses so far.

One thing I have to say about the local riders group we're organizing is that they all feed off each other. There's always coaching going on and everyone's trying new things. We all get pumped when someone lands a trick for the first time, no matter what the level. So, it's really all about fun. The competitions are really just big social events where we all get to see what everyone's been working on.

Sorry, I was trying to think of other tours. I don't think I can add choices after the fact, but I'll try.
