    My work away from work

It's been a long year and a half since I took on a new endeavor. A good friend of mine formed a 501c3 program to provide oppurtunities for underprivilaged or at risk youth to participate in "action sports" like wakeboarding. He had other business to take care of so he asked if I'd take it over... well, I don't have a clue how to run a 501c3 organization but I've got a great board of directors that keep me on track.

Along with supporting "at risk" youth, we desire to help form and support clubs or programs that meet our criteria. Example, we helped bring in Cathy Williams for a day camp for the local wakeboarding club (asm supported).

Just thought I'd share my passion for working with youth with all of you.

Cool! Our Texas INT State coordinator has an extreme sports ministry.

Great job harv. Taking on a responsibility like this is not the easiest of tasks. I am sure the children that you are trying to mentor will appreciate it now and in the future. Nothing but good can come from something like this.

How do you find the time to do this? And I thought my life was busy.

I don't have enough time... If I'm this busy now just doing the preparation work, what am I going to do once we start doing what we set out to do

        Looking forward to the challenge.
