Razzman- you did one hell of a job on that boat. I definitely don't have the coin to drop into her as I am only a fresh college grad. I did like the dual battery setup, I may look into that after I get her shiny gelcoat back.
The wake looked amazing for skiing (30 mph), but looks quite narrow and small for wakeboarding (20 MPH). I know there are thousands of ways to get a larger wake, but just curious what you did and how you liked it?

Dogbert- thank you for the advice. I will definitely contact SPBFAN ^^^ if I can't get all the oxidation off. I figure hand buffing will get me into shape for skiing.

Thanks all for your help and input.

PM you my phone number give me a call. Hand buffing is a good thing. I am sure you could obtain a buffer from one of the owners in the are so you don't have to hand buff that thing. If not I can work somthing out to send you mine out as a loaner. Give me a call.

I was happy to see you decided to take Hatcher with last weekend! If he's only 1 1/2 yrs. old & he's that big you may be forced to upgrade to a v drive sooner than later - Yikes!

Everything went quite well, my packing gland leaked a little, but nothing to be worried about, the motor ran good and very strong. Need to do some work on the music situation, the previous owner installed two amps and subs, but kinda did a monkey job on the install.
Sorry, didn't call you about Sunday because of the same thing you saw. Wind was a little too much for me. Glad to see that you went out there and had a good time. The river is a very nice place to boat. Just watch out when it gets busy. The conditions are rough.
