Maybe da.bell will be willing to part out his "other" boat and sell you a tower cheap.

Why do that. I'll part out my RZ2 and put the new Alpha Z tower on it.

        Thank you all.

I've towed my parents boat quite often, so hopefully I won't be the one blocking the launch ramp.

I did noticed that the trailer has 2" square tubing with a set screw for boat loading guides (but they were missing). I would like to find or build a set of these. It looks like all the aftermarket ones use some u-bolts to clamp around the frame and look kind of cheap. Maybe I will contact the trailer co and see if I can get some spares.

TRD- I send you a PM with my email address. That Excel sheet would be nice to have. Yea I do have a 350 Merc, but I think the HP is a bit less like 270 maybe (and its carburated).

It came with a Skylon pole (w/racks). Personally I kind of like the look of the pole better than a tower. I have a feeling its going to take some fat sacks or a TAPS plate to get a decent wakeboarding wake. I think I need to start saving some more coin before that happens. However I finally got a decent slalom ski and would like to do more skiing.

Mine has galvanized guide poles with PVC pipe over the top of them. Pretty simple and you can get pads from the local dealer or search ebay

Thats quite a nice boat Mjerner. How is it boating with your dog? I've got a 95 lb shepherd mix. I'm kind of afraid of his claws going right through the vinyl seats, does your pup wear booties, or is clipping his claws good enough? How do you load him in the boat? At the dock, or before you put the boat in?

                Wow, I'm full of questions.
                Thanks again everyone.

I think he meant backing the boat, not the truck and trailer. Inboards drive different than an I/O in reverse. Basically no turning, ok just slightly in the direction the prop rotates. It takes some practice coming to the dock.

Hey JoePrunc Mattie (our choc lab) loves goin to the lake and gladly steps down on the swim step from the dock to board. Her brown hair wouldn't coordinate well with our light interior so she hangs out at the houseboat while we go boarding. Your white shephard is sure pretty
