Tige's 1st Annual Lake Powell Rendezvous

Alright... are any of you Tige Crazies willing to take part in a massive Rendezvous at Lake Powell in the middle of August 2009 (before school starts)? We have had tons of fun with our big boat rendezvous but think that a Tige ONLY rendezvous would be even better. We would rent every courtesy slip at Antelope Point Marina, the restaurant, golf tourney at Page National, a band, houseboat for resting and hot tubbing, a group of pro riders, a masseuse (for all those crashes), a group of the latest Tige's to ride and hopefully tempt you into a new Tige, and plenty of swag. We really would like to try this but want to see if the Tige nation is ready for this. The rendezvous in Mead is what would like to build on. I have already started begging Tall to help us out and bring some fellow Tige mastery to the table. Tony the Tiger (Fussell) is ready to help out and I think that bringing together all the local dealers/customers (AZ, UT, NV, CO, NM, etc) and any of you out there that have ever thought about making the trek out to boatings all time greatest destination. It would be insane. Antelope Point is an incredible facility that has always lacked at Powell and it allows for a whole bunch of good times.

We thought we would throw this out there and see what you all think and see if we can put this together.

I am very new at this but I am trying to put up some footage and pics from our BOGEYS and BOATS rendezvous this year.

    Count me in!!!!!!!!!

School in St. George starts very early, this year was the 12th of August.

The geniuses in our school district do not yet have an online calendar for 2009 school year, so I don't know for sure what day it will start next year.

I hope that we can do this early enough so I can bring the whole crew.

How about a stereo contest too?

I saw the footage from last time. It looked like a very good time was had by all. Wasatch for sure knows how to throw a party!
    Be excellent to one another.

      Let it be!!!

I'm in. Like Tall; school could be an issue. We have a houseboat vacation booked for July 19-25. So it would be a quick turnaround for us, but that is not a bad thing.

Consider me in as well! I haven't been to Powell but have heard great things and need an excuse to make a long weekend up there! I'm sure Dan will show me the way!

The wingnuts will be in. We are usually there the 1st or second week anyway. So count us in. It would be great fun. I am in for the bogeys if you want more than that you'll have to count on others.

I can not express how much I waited for this to happen. Lake Powell would be a perfect place for a reunion. My family and I are definably in for a great time with the Tige family!

Hmm, sounds tempting, but I'd have to work it into our wakeboard competition schedule, which I don't know. Not sure if I could commit. Lake Powell is on my list of destinations I've wanted to visit.

This is the exact reaction I was hoping for. I think that year one our goal could and should easily reach 50 Tige's at the Antelope slips or on Tige Beach in Warm Creek Bay. We will for sure start the planning and within the next couple weeks have a date worked out. I am very good with shooting for the first part of August so the kids can be there (we need to teach them young that Tige's are the only way). The earlier dates will make it difficult for the pros to come but we can work that out with Tony F's help!

My houseboat at Halls is available either the first two weeks of August. I could probably bring in down that direction. I also am very good friends with the Head Tech at Antelope Point Marina. He could help out and be a tremendous resource for this event. He tells me that Antelope Point is
always on board with events that promote thier marina. We have a big
group of tige owners that spend time at Powell here in Colorado. Let me
know if I can help out in any way.

I am in if I can share a boat with Tall, LovingPowell, Livin2Dive. Of course I will bring my wave runners so I won't come empty handed.
