2002 Tige 20i Fuel Gauge Instrument Not Registering

All of a sudden, last waterski ride of the season, our Fuel Gauge/Oil Pressure/Battery Volts/Engine Temperature Guage is not registering at all.

Any suggestions on what this could be for a 2002 Tige 20i? Any specifics on where to start looking for this problem?

    Thanks ~ Ed

I would check all the fuses and switches.

I had that problem once, and I just had turn off my main switch and most of the electrical gauges just did not work.

I hope your problem is as easy as my was. Good Luck!

On a 2002 Tige 20i can you tell me where the fuses are and exactly what switches are you speaking of and where?

      Where is the 'main' switch?

Any further information would be great. Thanks

      Ed

1st place I would look is under the dash at the wires going to the guage. On my 02 the nuts holding the wires on the guages would always come loose and the wires were disconnected.
        Let it be!!!

x2. After that, there are 2 inline fuses running from the ignition switch which power the gauges. You'll need to crawl under the dash to see them.

              Problems w/a Tige fuel guage??????

              inconceivable!!!

Start w/ the fuse block, as that would account for all of the guages going out at once!

                  Truthiness

Twas not sarcasm, tis the truth.

You might as well tell the poor lad now, he needs to carry a wooden stick (or anodized aluminum if you are a baller..) and a calculator to keep accurate track of the gas level........

You know, there's a simpler way to tell. Just keep track of the hours and figure on 5-6 gals per hour. On my boat that's about 8 hrs before my tank is dry (40 gals). My fuel gauge has always worked. I just replaced it with a fuel flow meter that's only working intermittently...go figure. I gotta debug that. I suspect that I've overloaded the wiring harness on my dash with all my stuff. I may have to move some stuff.
