IMO, the bigger the better. We have a large bimini on ours here is S. FL. and it makes the day so much more enjoyable and were able to spend more time on the water with the kids.

I would go with the one that covers drivers and observers seating and to middle of 22VE but leave sun to hit sundeck and rear bench. Is just my preference. This way people who want the sun can sit in front or back of the 22VE but middle is out of direct sun.

If you stay out the whole day and have youngsters then the longer one is better choice so you can get most of boat load out of direct sun in mid day when sun is hottest and sunburns you easier.

There a few tigeowners that have had the extended biminis done, and there are a 2 piece top, so they're not stuck with a full canopy every time they go out.

xpjim and Moki come to mind if I remember correctly

You can have them made at a canvas shop. In So Cal one of the best places is ADLEE's. I had mine made in Henderson NV. I like my 2 piece. Does not really interfere with the rope when I have both biminis deployed. When only the front is open sometimes the rope catches on the unopened second bimini. If I know I am only going to use the short bimini I leave the other one in my truck.

This is the only option my wife wanted when we bought the boat. Got to keep her happy

Call Debbie @ HQ Marine, tell her Mike told you to call, ask her who they use for their canvas work. He does all the Nautiques as CC does not offer covers or biminis (til the 09's). I think it something like Joel or Joe, cant remember, but he does good work. he should be able to match you current color and make it so it zips on.

                      Note to self:
Put extended bimini on the list of things to buy.

XPJim, I should have taken a closer look at yours while we were at Mead last Saturday.

Here is a shot with both unopened. When the front bimini is open the unopened back bimini just fits over the opened bimini and straps to the tower. Kind of blocks the sound of the tower speakers though. Also when both are opened I use the window mounted mirror to see behind me
