Just got back from my first trip to Lake Powell! Wow! What a blast! It was absolute perfect conditions the entire trip (Wed-Sat). I'm in awe at what nature has created there! I didn't get to take my boat so I had to ride on the 2 that my buddies took but I "managed"

Very nice Timmy. There is nothing like Powell in the fall. Except for maybe Powell in January when you can ride on the glass literally for hours and not see another boat. (drysuit required).

I agree, Powell in September and early October is the best. Just got back last night. The only bad part of my trip was that it was too short.

I'll do an end of the year pic thing i probably have a couple hundred pics from this summer. Right now i have 34 days down there this summer and i'll be adding 4 more, did it all with only taking 5 days off work and 2 days off of school!!

We camped in a canyon in the Escalante I think? Does that sound right? It was like the first or second one in on Escalante (if that's right). It was perfect because it had shade morning and night.
