Well, I have been looking at different boards to upgrade for RJ. His green loogey is getting dented on the top, and he needs a new one. Not abused, just used. So we narrowed it down to 3 boards, the new Walker Pro, the new Loogey if we could demo it, and the SMED wombat, which RJ has been really taken a shine too. We want to try to get one by the contest in Castaic on 10/12.
Well IS says January for the new board, and we won't be able to demo til then. So I talked to Matt Smedley on the phone, and I really warmed up to him and he is making RJ a custom board. The thing that pushed me over the edge is the ability to try out his new fin system he is using from 4wfs. The new board will be a quad, with this fin system. You MUST check out how these things work.

Matt was really excited to try out a new airbrush design he is working on. He is going to do in a darker blue than this:
He laughed when I told him that picture gave me a chubby.
Because custom, and the expensive 4wfs system, it will be about $700, but I am very excited. Want to keep the boy progressing.
