    New Member Marine Power Rep.

I would like to introduce myself to the site. My name is Terry Barrett and I represent Marine Power Engines. I am no stranger to the Tige Owners Site but I have not posted very often. I am also no stranger to Tige Boats. I was the Phoenix Tige dealer for 8 years before selling the dealership to Charlie Spencer and moving to Abilene to become the Director of Sales for Tige Boats Inc. I held this position for 2 and a half years before retiring and moving back to Phoenix. I now represent Marine Power Engines. The reason for this post is to let you know that even though Tige has made the decision to make PCM the exclusive engine package for 2009, Marine Power will continue to support the end users of our engines through your dealer network. If you experience any issues that need attention your dealer is your first option for attention. I have and will monitor this site regularly and I will be happy to answer any questions or point you in directions for resolutions. My email address is tbarrett_marinepower@cox.net. Please contact me with any questions or just to say hi if we have crossed paths. I look forward to interaction with you.
    Kindest regards,
    Terry

I've been pretty happy with mine too even if it is the 6L.

I like mine too, but I wish it was a hybrid.

Welcome Terry, glad to have you!

I do have one question for you right off the bat, and I know some other members have posted about this as well - are there engine manuals available to us through you?

                    Thanks, and again, welcome!

Great. Look forward to hearing your insight.

Maybe you could start here. Not mine. Get comfortable.

While Terry was a Tige dealer, he won an award for being #1 in customer satisfaction. That wasn't an accident or a fluke. You won't find a better person to help resolve an issue.

I appreciate the responses. The reason I am with Marine Power is due to the same satisfaction with the engine while running the dealership and with the factory. Further the people at Marine Power are top notch.

Manuals are available, however they are in need of updating. Keep in touch with me thru my email and I will make a notification on this site when an updated version is available. There is a cost involved so the best bang for the buck will be with the newer manual.

                          I DO appreciate the welcome.

I have seen the thread that deals with boat in the Northwest. I am also aware that a transition in dealerships has taken place. If there is a problem with the engine or software rest assured it will be taken care of. We will not intervene or sidestep the dealerships in resolution. We will support the dealer if and when Tige requests our assistance. Tige also has technicians capable of trouble shooting issues. It sounds like the customer is with the new dealer at this time. If we can assist we stand ready to help

Welcome officially to the site. I'm glad to see you post up and introduce yourself. A little customer service goes a long way! No problems so far, hope I don't need you--nothing personal
