I've got a 2008 Z1 with 340hp engine and last weekend the stereo remotes and the speed set quit. If i turn the speed set on i see a set speed of 0 mph which can't be changed by pushing faster or speed set. Speedo reading seams to be ok. Both batteries have been charged, ground connections have been checked and the speed set ECM under the dashboard has been changed by the dealer without any result. What could cause that problem? Is the speed set problem related to the remote problem?

Have the remotes been out since your first thread in Aug., or did the dealer find something and now they are back out. If the stereo head unit works, and BOTH remotes are inop, then you have (1) a bad H/U, (2) bad "Y" connection for the remotes, (3) lose connection between the "Y" and the H/U. Very, very, very, slim chance that you have 2 bad remotes.
For the Speed Set, it's hard to tell with out knowing what all the dealer's technician has looked at. There are a couple of ground BUSS bars, did he try a known good Speed-Set head unit (touch pad).

The Remotes were going on and off since August and now they don't work at all.
The only thing my dealer did was changing the speed set ECM. But i think changing the head unit will be his next step.
I checked the ground BUZZ bar under the dashboard and all the bolts are tight. Where are the other ground BUZZ bars ?
