    New Boat

On monday were picking up the 2002 22i. The in interior is in amazing shape, couldnt find 1 tear. Unfortunatly were taking it straight to storage after we take it for a spin at Lewisville. Its gonna be a long winter! Can any tell me some basic info about the boat? I had a hard time finding pics on the web, as well as info. Such as, wake size, will I want a few sacs in it? Thanks for the time,
    Jeff

Me and a friend just checking it out,

Congrats on your new Tige and welcome to the Site. It is a very nice looking boat. I am actually going to be going out on the same one this weekend. You will probably want to add sacks to It, just to get a nice big wake.

I ride Lewisville all the time, is that where you will be riding next summer?

Thanks! I havnt ridden Lewisville yet, but id like to! I dont really know the ropes so maybe we could hook up sometime. Im right on Ray Hubbard so I usually ride out there, but come summer time, finding smooth water is like digging for gold. Were going out monday for a spin, the boat is actually at Buxton Marine right now, and after we taking it out to King Bro's.

I have the identical boat. You will LOVE IT! Awesome storage, excellent boarding wake! You can add weight if you are an advanced rider, but t really is not necessary to pull alot of tricks including some inverts. When I add weight, I go with 350 lbs in each rear locker and 600 in the bow walkway. You can get by with 350 lbs behind the motor, but you will also need 350 in the walkway to balance it out. If you just add wight to the rear, the wake can get a little washy. You have have to balance it correctly. If you have any more questions let me know.
        Congrats on your purchase!!

Thanks! I cant wait to get it on the water. I was thinking about doing some stero system upgrades, like tossing 2 more speakers on the tower, and possibly getting a 12" sub under the dash instead of the 10".
Ever thought about or tried anything like it? Also, how many peeps have ya had in it?

My system seems to do fine with just the 10" sub, but then again, I am usually out with the family and don't rock the system as much as I would like. I am running two amps, 4 mids, 4 tweets, the sub, and 2 tower speakers along with a drivers remote and a tansom remote. Would like to add another pair if tower speakers some day.

The most people I have had on the boat is 10. Everybody was fairly comfortable.

See you on Lewisville as soon as it gets warm again. I just bought a 2002 20V RE and I only got a few passes before it got cold.
                  Congrats!!!

Thanks everyone! Im still amped to just get it on the water for a spin on monday, if the weather permits. Matt, Im pretty sure you are if it was about posting a pic. I really appreciate it by the way! Jeff, the first time my dad and I saw this boat (last saturday) we were amazed at the condition it was in. It had been obvious that the previous owners really took care of and respected this boat. The only thing that puzzled my dad and I was that the trailer has a New Mexico license plate on it. We werent sure why they drove all that way to sell it, if that was the case. We looked at a number of boats that day and im glad that we chose the Tige. Winter is really bummin' me out, I hate not bein able to be out there on it. There is a number of additions that we plan on doing to the boat, but the little things first, and that is getting the windows tinted. Does anyone know a place that could do this? Ive thought about calling an auto tinting place to ask, but I was looking for somewhere that maybe specialized in doing it? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for all the comments!

                      Jeff,

They were out of Hobbs NM, unfortunately for boating enthusiast in NM there is not the selection of boats or the number of dealerships to do business, so there for most people in search for the right deal and boat will make the trip to Dallas.

                      Regards,
                      Jeff
