Tige Boats at Surf Expo 2008

I know it is not a boat show, but Tige did have the best booth of all of the Boat mfg's. Just to give you an example, Mastercraft had a boat and not a single Rep there the whole show, walk by the Tige booth and there is at least
two or three people working at any time. They even had a PCM engine displayed w/ PCM Rep standing by ready to answer any questions.
Again Tige goes above and beyond what they have to do.

I wonder if that is Tanner's RZ2 I know he ordered one.

And that RZ2 looks like they have the ballast tanks in there.

Way to go Tige It's good to know that they take surfing, as the next big (i know, it already is) water sport, serious.

Even though it is called the Surf Expo it is 35% Wakeboarding, 35% clothing, 20% other, and only about 10% surfing related. I don't even think I saw a surfboard there at all last year.

I was referring to traditional surfing as surfing and wakeboarding as all wake related sports.

I really wish I could've gone to the Expo this year.

That is one sharp boat. I'm not usually a fan of black decks but that works well on that one.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

In the pic above, the deck directly over the pickle front looks white while the balance of the deck is black (sharp!). If so, this is the second non-standard gel coat pattern we have seen pics of. The first was Spolk69's slick full white side with black and white transom.

So is it normal to be able to request gel coat patterns other than those shown on the web config applet?

The surf manufacturers were well-represented, but I think it's definately down from prior years. Lost and Surftech had huge displays, but the smaller folks are definately missing. In terms of floor space I think that the "surf" component had fully 50% of the total, but it's weird, because Body Glove and Lucy Love will be in there with the boards. I'd estimated it more to clothing than anything else with wake and surf being about the same in terms of display area. I was talking with one vendor and they were telling me that the "surf" floor space is cheaper than the "wake" floor space so folks that qualify to be in the surf area, try to save $'s by locating in that area.

It is not a black deck. This boat has the optional deck accent that goes the full length of the boat. Looks killer!

So the point remains that more than the options from the web config tool are avaialable. Widely available to any/most dealers? Or limited?

Any chance in getting a transom shot on that display boat above?
