My tige had to be towed for the first time this summer.
I have 298 hours on my 2004 tige and so far, I had to have it towed once. I figured one time in 4 summers is not too bad. Here is what happened.
We where at lake Mojave, when my wife took her sister and nephews at for some tubing. About 1.5 hours later I se her coming back to the cove behind and I/O. At first I thought she was fallowing them a little closes, when I noticed that they where towing her. The got her about 30 feet from shore, when I asked what happened. One of my nephew help up the towrope in one hand. That all it took for me relies that she ran over the rope. My son swam out and was able to get the rope of the prop in about 2 min. It turns out that while they where changing rides, her youngest nephew sat the rope on the swim deck. A few good swells and the rode fell between the swim deck and boat. When she put the boat in gear, she noticed the tube being pulled towards the boat, so she turned it off. They tried to pull it off the prop, but were unable to stay under the boat in the rough waters of the open lake.
I learned two things.
1) that my has the mine not to make things worst, and 2) we need to always have two people on the boat that know there way around boating.
So what has happen to you people? (I would say guys, but I want to PC
