    Whats Up with WETSOUNDS

I have tried to call them for the last two days and the phone calls go straight to voice mail. I have left messages and have not heard back from any one. Are they closed to attend an event or somthing. Or is there a issue with the phones they may not know about.

I need to ask question about the old style quick relases. I have had them on my boat since July and they have worked fine until now. Now they are loose and spining on the tower and the speakers are not staying in place. The correct inserts are installed and the clamps are completly closed together.

The question is can they be put on a belt sander and reduced in size to get some more tension on the inserts to keep them in place? I don't want to chip up the chrome.

Help Tim or anyone at the Wetsounds offices.

    Surf Expo?

I know a lot of reps flew in early to mid week.... But still someone should be around to answer the phone, unless they all went.

They (main corporate offices) are located in Missouri City, TX.. Right in the path of Huricane Ike. I'd run also.

In the speaker box, there should have been 2 thin rubber type strips about 2"x6" that will wrap around the tower before the clamp goes on. These will prevent the slipping.

How about a thin strip of Electrical tape first?

Tape is not a bad idea, maybe the cloth type for hockey sticks or baseball bats.
