    stainless rub rail '08RZ2

    Guys,
I am picking up my brand new '08 RZ2 tomorrow and noticed when I was looking it over that is has a metal rub rail. Is this common and is denting a common problem?
Can you buy a rubber insert to keep from denting?

I haven't had a problem with it at all on two boats. Tige uses non-hollowed out stainless steel.

The SS rub rail is standard on the RZ series. Much more durable then rubber

You'll be fine. I think I started off that way with my 24Ve.

The RZ2 is one awesome boat. Hope you enjoy it and put up some pictures for all of us to see.

I think I got away with highway robbery on this one. See attached. It still has the shrink wrap between the boat and the trailer.

            I got LUCKY.

Hmmmmmm, Based on how the add reads, this boat is technically used. If so, there are some things you need to be aware of.

Relocation forces sales of boat right after delivery. Full Tige factory warranty "transferable to new owner".
The word "Delivery" means someone took possession of the boat, so your are the 2nd owner, if so, it will not have "full factory warranty" on it. The 3 year bow to stern is not transferable, the 3yr engine warranty is, with a fee, and the Tige Lifetime Hull Replacement warranty becomes a 10 repair warranty starting from the original in-service date (not the date you bought it).

This guy is throwing in the towel and I lucked into it.

Letter from the President of TIGE honoring the warranty. Boat has not been registered.

You are good to go, the add was just a little miss-leading then.
