Chip off of the old Block?

OK, so as I have done for several years, I usually edit together a movie of our summer as a family. Well, today I go to look through stuff that came off of the camera and RJ (13) is with me. As I start this one clip, he says "I have to clean my room" and high tails it out of my office. Hmm....

So I watch the clip. I have posted here for you to watch, you need quicktime.

The background to this clip, I sent RJ hiking up a hill on shore to take some pics and video our little cove we anchored in. But after I sent him, whitney wasn't feeling well and needed an emergency run to floating head. We took a long time, and I forgot all about him. He wasn't happy.

Its also a great shot of what oroville is like right now. Even on the weekend, no one is on it, due to how tough it is to launch.

Well it made me laugh! Reminds me when I was in 5th grade, my dad dropped me off at school cause I missed the bus. Well, neither of us realized that the parking lot was empty and the school was dark. Turned out it was columbus day and school was closed, so I had not missed the bus, it wasn't even running that day! After sitting in front for about half an hour trying to figure out if I should start walking home a school security guy came by and helped get a hold of my neighbor to pick me up. Thanks Dad! Atleast you came back for him, fashionably late and all
