09 RZ Swim Platform Group buy

For some of us that own a RZ 07 and 08, where the swim platform cuts into the wake. I was just wondering if we could get a group to order a few 09 swim platform at cost.

I wish we could get it replaced as a re-call, but that will never happen. Perhaps we can get it at a discount price.

Call your dealer and see what kind of discount they would give on a mass order! The killer would be the shipping from the dealer the TO. I doubt Tige would do a direct sale to the privet sector, but call or PM Lee or Harvey @ Tige and ask! Maybe the will do a one time discount for those to upgrade.

I am no expert, but I have an RZ4 and I don't see the problem with the swim platform. I have also had very experienced surfers on the boat and have ask them about it and they couldn't see the problem. Does anyone have a good picture of how the wake is altered by the platform?

Eks, After looking at your pictures in that thread, I have to admit your after wake does look much better. I will have to think about that one, however, its hard to admit that a BYU fan is right. Go Utes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both teams should have a great season this year , it should be an exciting game if both are undefeated at the end of the year.

My guess is that they did not had both platforms to compare and since most factory Tige's do not have tons of ballast, it was overlooked. After many customers complaints they had to look at it and re-designed the swim platform.

In their defense, Tige is not the only company with that problem, MC also have boats that the swim platform cuts into the wake. I surfed on my friend's X2 and the swim platform cuts the wake just as bad.

The good part is that they did listen to customers feedback and in 09 the new swim platform is great. The bad part is that we (the 07 and 08 guinea pigs) do not have the new designed swim platform.

Again, that is just my humble opinion.
