In addition to the Sampon, take a look at the Xplosion Tower. I have really enjoyed mine and it has tons of clearance even with the 485s.

If you decide to get the Z series Tower do not buy the Tige bimini that comes with it. it scratches the tower and they are not that easy to put up.

I am not sure what you mean about financing??? We have more than enough money to buy several boats free and clear, but financed ours without a second thought! We use the extra cash we would have laid out today in investments that earn far more than the interest rate we pay in the boat loan.

I need someone decent to tell me where to put my money other than a 401K. That has given me a whopping 3% return or so over the last 2 years.

I am sure I would get put on the bottom of the service list when it needs it if I did that, plus I am pretty stoked about a beneath the floor ballast and PCM engines. MP warranty support has become pretty shoddy lately.

Definitely wait for the PCM. It is a whole new boat with that engine. I have drove a RZ2 with that engine and it is very nice. It is worth the wait. You for sure have a ride on our boat if you want it. Just let me know.

There was a another member on here that sold his boat also. The guy that had the x-80 and 24Ve. He sold that 24Ve for a very, very low price to someone in Wyoming.
