I dont think you are paying for the capablility of more "people". You are paying for 2 more feet of boat, and some minor modifications. What im trying to say is that I dont think comparing price to the CG sticker is a good comparison. Like my boats rated for 9 but If i want 10 people want on and theres room why not let them on.....

I agree with ZAD. I can fit as many people in my 24V as a 24VE. I would be paying for the extra 2 feet for better rough water handling and the extra inches of freeboard to help me not hit my head on the tower, etc

True but I can guarantee that the performance is better in the RZ2 compared to the RZ4. But a test drive is definitely in order.

Zad, true but the standard options are the same with both models. There isn't any upgrade other than size IMO. However, I personally looked at # of ppl that would fit since the size of family and the amount of people that we would be going out with that day.

Not to mention that I don't like to be cramped either. I like to have my space.

I can guarantee you that 15 or 17 people my size will not fit in the boat. They need to be pretty small people to get those numbers

Yeah sometimes I look at a boat and try to imagine where the people would sit..... My cuz's 20ft 2004 Supra Comp LTS is rated for 10... go figure.

I do not think you can guarentee that. I would say in your opinion you thought the performance was better. Put a hundred people in each boat and ask that question and I can almost guarantee that the results would not be 100 to 0 that they thought the RZ2 was a better perfoming boat. What do you consider performance? Pretty hard to define in my book

I see where you are going with this. However, going from the 24Ve to the RZ2, the turning performance (hull shape was different. More rocker in the RZ2 compared to the 24Ve) and wake shape (argueable for sure) were definitely a difference.

Taking this to the RZ4/RZ2 idea. The RZ4 should not turn as well as the RZ2 because of the additional weight and the increased length of the hull.

IMO, I would think the more rocker on the boat you have the better turn when comparing the two.
