It is hard to set, you can't see that damn red blinking light in the middle of the day (don't most people ride and surf when it is light out?), just a horrible design. I know they fixed it but they left the 06 owners with a $1200 dollar piece of crap speed control. As you can tell I am not happy that our dealer talked us into speed set over perfect pass. Oh well.

Go with Stargazer and tell Tige to shove their crappy 2006 speed set where the sun doesn't shine!!

Good luck, if you do install PP stargazer let me know how you like it becuase I am thinking of upgrading before next spring.

Anybody want a crappy speed set from 06, the price is $1000 firm...haha
    Same for you.

If anyone wants PP Stargazer for a TBW engine you need to act soon becuase they arent going to offer the TBW for the 2009 boat year.

why are you picking out what I said? did you read the original post? none of them are on here anyway, I used to work there, and my best friend continues to, so i know all of them anyway. My service will be just fine. thanks for your concern though

I talked to Jason. I told him right off the bat i wanted to do a GPS speed set, so that would be PP or zero off and they come back with tige speed set.

Balair, my girlfriends uncle runs the service department at oak so I told mau to stick. I'm going to buy the stargazer system myself and do the install with my gf's uncles help.

That's a good idea. The labor rate these days is redic. Good luck with the install. You going to have it in this year yet or will you have to wait till next summer to test it out?

Stargazer is on my Christmas wish list (with the upgraded display) along with a new Kenwood H/U w/ transom remote.

Either the KTS-300MR or KTS-400MR should do the trick.

One thing you have to remember about mau, tige is like a brand they dont even talk about because they sell so few of them compared to their sea rays and cris crafts, i dont think they are as knowledgable about the whole wake board boat thing, but yea i get frustrated with them sometimes too but being in buisness similar to them i understand a little more.

It will be next year. I don't get much use out of my boat now that college has started. So i'll buy it this winter then when I get my boat back from storage i'll put it in.

Ya I think all marinas are pretty bad, but idk Mau is just horrible. Some times I don't tell them about problems that aren't that big of deal because it is a pain to get them to fix it in a timely matter or fix it at all. Some times its just simpler to leave it broken then talk to them.

<scratchin my head> I'm wondering how a young man in college can afford a boat, let alone the SERVICE on a boat?????? Then gas, insurance, storage, launch fees...........
I did something wrong during college!!!
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
