As many of you know i'm looking to put an after market cruise in my 06 22v. So I have been talking to my dealer and he said he would "talk to tige" and see what they would "recommend" (you can see where this is going). So I get an email back that says
"Spencer,
I spoke with Tige' about your request they said the 'Tige Speed Set' cruise control will plug right into the existing wiring harness of your boat, which is a real plus. The cost of the add on is $1302.99 + tax and labor which should take about 2 1/2 hours. A complete aftermarket system parts and labor would cost quite a bit more. Feel free to call or email if you would like us to move forward with this or if you have any questions or other needs. Thank you for your inquiry! "
Now what a load of
when I can go buy a perfect pass stargazer for less than that and zero off system for the same price!!!!!!
Then the two and half hours labor would cost me 250$ hahaha. The whole point of me putting in a gps run cruise was the fact that my paddle wheel is broken. So by putting in a gps system I wouldn't have to worry about my paddle wheel getting fixed and breaking again and I would have cruise.
What everyones suggestions here? How hard would it be for me to buy a Zero Off system and do the install myself?
