    Vacation Fuel Log

This summer we visited Lake Havasu, Lake Powell and Lake Mohave. We had a wonderful time what resulted in 36 days/nights, after we extended our initial trip. We were not on or at a Lake everyday of our trip as we did some hiking and excursions (Bryce UT, Durango, CO).

Thought I would post our fuel log with the unreal fuel costs this year.

I'm just glad we didn't have time to log another 220 hours like we did last summer. We're at about 80.

It was all worth it though right?

If ya all are into 40 days and nights on the water, look into a trip on a river
Nashville or Mississippi or St johns or just "River trip" .
That is so cool to be gone for that long.. PICS?
Rivers have their problems but going down stream to the ocean!

WOW.....we're at 49 and that hurt. I really never thought that the fuel would effect us as it did, but it did.............we found other things to do other than boat. When we did boat though, it was wonderful!!!!!

I have not kept track. We are on the boat as much as we can and are loving every minute of it. We just cut back on other things... like food for the dog.

It was all good. My son bounced back from a near-fatal accident that pretty much wiped out the 2006 boating season. The injury was pretty traumatic, but he never cried about the pain. The first time he did cry was when the doctor told him he couldn't wakeboard. He's a pretty resilient kid, but he was just crushed by that.

I'm sure we'll be back at it again next year. He's pretty fired up about his competitions and now realizes he needs to practice to win.

That would be the exact reason I don't keep track! Ignorance is bliss.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
