Anyone notice when you run up/down the TAPS gague the needle sticks a bit over 7/8 going up and down. I asked my dealer and he gave me the impression it is not the instrument gague but in the stern where the hydrolic cylindar is located. There is a wire/coil that is sensitive and recommends leaving it alone. Maybe it needs to "break-in" or just simply "break". Any suggestions I can give to my dealer? It acts like it his hanging up on something.

You ever notice that on some cars, when you fill the tank really full, the needle will stay on "F" for a while, or when you push the limits of an empty tank and it stays on "E" a lot longer then expected before running out???
My thoughts are, that the plate moves a little more them what gauge is capable of registering, so when you are at one extreme or the other, the plate needs to travel a little (1/4" to 1/2") before needle moves.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I watched the plate and it moves smoothly up and down with no hesitation regardless of the needle gague. I figure the wire controlling the gague is sticking on something if all other TAPS do not have a problem. Hate to have a new boat and see something this ovious every time you use it. I guess I have 3 years for it to get better or break for it to under warrentee.Nick
