I just wanted to know if you think the quick disconnects to the platform worth the extra money or not?

Also do you guys remove the entire FAE exhaust over the winter, will this presents any future problems?

      Thanks

dog: your boat is close to mine? what do you think?

Unless you plan to remove your swim platform a lot, I wouldn't bother. I leave mine on because there's really no reason to take it off. I leave my swim platform on as well.

I'd get them both and only tell her about one of them. If she does find out, just remind her that it is your anniversary and she has to love you anyway. Or a better idea, have her get the FAE for you and then you can buy the amp for her.

I did tell her I was buying her an amp, she laughed.

She'll love it. My wife has admitted that she enjoys the music after offering quite a bit of resistance at first.

                FAE. FAE. FAE. No question.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

BTW, I happened to be out on a friends boat (same boat as mine) and we were surfing. I was sitting inside the cockpit, but pretty far back on the side we were surfing and I could really smell the fumes. He didn't have an FAE.

We notice it on our boat. I am hoping to get FAE this winter for next spring.

I was sitting on the back of mine this wkend and it seemed really bad to me, had someone else driving. I took all the measurments last night for the FAE.

We were practicing throwing the rope back and forth while we were surfing. When we started loosing the wake we throw the rope back and get back in the wake and throw the rope back in the boat.

We are still not as skilled as CHP yet.

Ordered my FAE last night. Can't wait till I get it to put it on and try it out. Larry was so easy to deal w/. Props to Him.

Let us know how it works out and if the noise differential is significant with the direct drive.

                          Congrats and good luck.

Will do. I haven't got an ETA yet. They had all the part in stock except one. He said they would get it made and in the mail. Larry knew everything I needed before I told him. That made me feel good, explain what I needed to do and how to put it together. Sounds easy I hope.

CHP, I emailed them about black or silver. Do you get a choice or are they all painted black? I remember someone had the paint come off or something like that. Just asking.

Mine's black and I've had mine for several years with no paint chipping.

Dr. Mann explained that this isn't much of a problem anymore.

My FAE is arriving today, plan on installing Friday or Sat. (my take of work tomorrow). Is there anything to keep in mind when installing it, any suggestions. Anything you found to do to make it easier? I have a Teak platform. I have read the installation instructions and they don't like it should be to bad.

                                Thanks
