How do you like the tower speakers? Are they 60's or 80's?

My buddy with the bu 247 has a pair of pro 60's. We got them tuned in pretty well and I turned them up for him yesterday for the first time. It was about ear piercing to us in the boat just in the drivers and front passenger seat, even though we were actually behind the speakers by about two feet.

I asked him how they sounded and he said...'I really didn't notice they were on'. His engine is quite loud, and there still was some room to go on the speaker volume, but I wouldn't have been able to drive the boat because of the noise, and I was in front of the tower speakers. So my concern is that the Pro 60's spread out the sound very quickly, and will deafen the occupants of the boat. He turned them up when I was riding and I could hear some noise, but couldn't tell what song was on.

And he will want to deal with those now while it's still under warranty. They are expensive to have replaced.

Yes, the are stuck on with two sided tape from what I can see. However, for $85 for them, I will be putting ebay tige emblems on my boat when the new graphics get put on...

Does he have exaust tips? Either way that 383 is a loud engine.

Spolk69 - Do you know what prop is on? Is it the ACME 537?

With that 409, that thing has got pop out of the water like crazy.


Anyone going to have an '09 RZ2 or RZ4 at the Lake Mead reunion? Or any RZ for that matter. Would be nice to get a pull behind one. I really only took two pulls behind mine, before giving it back.

they are 4 pro 80's , they sound very good with the ws 420 only. or they are to loud. but with the eq they are perfect.

Since you have the first 09 with 4 PRO 80's. I want to get that on the site and show everyone what can fit on the new tower.
