Your friends boat is a v-drive.
Why did you choose the direct drive? Just curios, we are a dying breed.
      Long live the DD
I would have thought I wanted a v-drive too. After living with my friends cc 236, I quickly decided that I very much dislike climbing over the platform/engine cover in the rear ,which feels like a stern drive. You give up room, ballance and the best riding seats in the house for it (the farther back, the smoother the ride). Everyone loves (and comments on) the doghouse in the middle, so much I'm afraid it'll get broken. It's like an ottoman and something else to hold you from getting tossed around in the boat. My next boat will be a dd as well, or else.

Love the colors and especially the night shots.

That seat on the back of the engine is the bomb-diggedy.

I also have a 22i and have to say I think it is most versitile of all of em out there.
I haven't had any negatives except how to pronounce the name, lots of looks and positives.

Sorry, contacted a few dealers to find the boat I wanted and get the deal, no kiss and tell, but extremely pleased with the dealer and the product/rep. etc.

How would you know what year it is? BTW, The factory will build a new boat special order without the goofy new tower, I know I talked to the our rep..
This is a new boat, had 1.5 hours and not titled/registered, but it is from dealer stock. very nice deal with matched tige disc brake trailer.
As far as recognising this boat, I have only had it in Lake Allatoona here and has 7.5 hours on it now. My Buddys air natique 236 has been trailer to some lake up in N.C., maybe Wiley,, but only for a weekend about 2 months ago.

Thanks for the compliments, I fell in love with it. Now I need lessons on what equipment to buy, overwhelming. Any advice is appreciated.

We took ours, a mini Schnauser out the last time, and she also found a home there and on the drivers seat.

          Here's a pic.

Was the stereo in your buddy's 236 done by Cliff @ Performance Works in Flowery Branch?

My dealer has/had an 07 22i just like yours, and thought they may have finally found a good home for it. Oh, yeah, Wylie is my home lake.

Not to give you a hard time... You might check the rules for kids in lifejackets. In Texas, you would get a big ticket for a little one without a jacket. They might even get CPS involved.

Your friend has an ugly boat. Yours is awesome, you'll love it. Not only did you pay less for a boat that's every bit as good, you'll use much less fuel than your pal. See how he likes that. Tell him it's expensive being "cool."
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Love the stroller on the boat!

                              As for equipment:
                              A few musts:
                              marine fire extinguisher
                              3 flares
                              class 2 throwable preserver
enough and proper live vests for all on the boat - and yes, the little one must be in an appropriate vest (at her age it must be one that will float her upright)
Ropes for fore and aft cleats and one for towing/being towed
                              First aid kit
                              2 bumpers

There is a thread on tools to carry (can do a search)

Nope, Atlanta. Haven't been in N.C. in years, But I do get up to Greenville S.C. often.

That system was installed prior to his purchase, so I/he would have to ask his dealer, which I'm not sure who was since I didn't ask. But I could ask, I have been looking at it and it's unique use of the Audio Formz enclosures.

Let's say my local dealer didn't believe anyone wants a dd. I drove a v-drive he had and wasn't happy with it. That's where I met the rep, he wanted me to have a 22i rather than lose the sale. It may have been the boat your talking about, I bought it through a headhunter/friend, without having seen a 22i in person. My research didn't fail, I like it and believe I have a better boat at a lower price. My only b#$$h is plastic cupholders?? I will rectify that.

Just had a pollution catcher pit stop, I was laughing about her standing up in the moving boat and wanted a pic. She has the proper jacket and the next size up already as well on the boat, in pink of course.

Haha, I wouldn't spit at his boat, but he did pay more and I don't consider it superior. Each to their own, the name is well known though.
