    Bemini

Does anyone have any suggestions for a 2008 Z1 bemini? I have 2 wetsound speakers on the tower and was currious how the bemini would contour over the speakers and how much sun coverage the bemini provides. Does anyone have some pictures of a new model boat bemini? I would also like to know how easily it folds down since I have to collapse the tower before putting in the garage.
    Thanks

pretty boat. I have a bimini on my 03 and would never go without one. I wouldn't even be on the lake in during the day if it weren't for the top. Mine is a metcract bimini. I have kmt6 twr spks and i have to mount them on top of the tower (not hanging) in order to use my bimini. someone else will have a good solution. just be sure and do whatever it takes to get one.

we had one custom built, but we have our tower speakers mounted on the upper bar. we didnt go with the factory one as we felt it had too many support bars and ruined the look of the tower.

im not totally sure how you would mount a bimini with the speakersw where they are.

It's not a newer boat but a newer tower, I have two Wet Sound 485s with my bimini. I also added an extension bimini - inspired by XPjim and others here on the board. Here is a pic:

I think you might have to move your tower speakers up to the top bar for the best fit, but a custom place might be able to do it.

You could use the factory one...

                Bemini picture

Great picture. This will work for my needs. I need to talk to my Tige Dealer.

With them turned up loud, they will blast the boat occupants less if you put them on the rear crossbar. If they are mostly used for the people in the boat to listen to, you are overengineered.

agree that it is a different bimini but but still zips on to the back of the tower and then has two mounts off the front. Here is a picture of my bimini for a e series.

                    This came with the boat.

                    Sorry about the blurry pic.

Ok, it looks like texastige.com has some great pictures on their dealer web site. They show a Z1. The Mfg installed the speakers on the front tower bar. Not sure why. I may have to move them unless they will interfer with the bemini in the stowed position.

Not sure if the speakers would work on the rear tower support due to the way the bemini wrapps around the pipe? Speakers are over-kill. They came with the boat and are way too loud for passengers when turned up.
Only problem, 2 unnecessay holes in the pipe if I move the speakers.

you could get a fader knob so you could adjust the sound from the tower speakers unless there is a rider that needs the loud music.

A good canvas shop should be able to make a bimini that will suit you needs. You should also be able to order the 08 bimini setup from Tige, and Lee can also provide a diagram with measurements as to where the mounts go on the tower. I had the sheet, but believe i've misplaced it.

If you moved the speakers toward the center of the cross bar, I bet you could do a under-the-tower bimini instead of an over-the-tower like the 08.

Your speakers are pointing down quite a bit, this could be the cause of the over powered passengers. The Wet Sounds project real well when aimed right and don't filter into the cabin line many other speaker setups.

Good idea to look at the 2 each AMP's I have. The "Gain" control knobs were out of adjustment. I have 5 "Gain" controls (Bow (2) speakers, Main Cabon (4) speakers, Tower Left, Tower Right and Sub Woofer) I labeled them so I know what controls what. Sounds much better.

I moved the tower speaker off to the sides more to avoid hitting my head on these big things.
