Dbot5 Swiveling Surf Rack

These swivel racks are much different than the ones that came on the "E" and "Z" series towers therefore they would not work IMO.

I was under the impression that Tigé was giving you the option of having surf racks OR wakeboard racks but the "holds wakeboards and surfboards" makes me think that they are only using one size rack that can accomodate both. If that is the case then the bigger polyU and epoxy style surfboards still will not fit and only the thinner skim style boards will fit.

If Tigé does give you the option of surf OR wakeboard racks then I'd like to see the ones they are putting on the non-Alpha Z towers since the mount looks totally different than the mount on the "e" and "z".

Very cool. I was thinking of doing something similar, but I was thinking of doing something with this mount for the illusion tower.



With that mount, it would seem you could mount that spline the rack goes on just about anywhere. But is dbot5 even doing racks anymore? I went to the site, and they don't show the racks on the site anymore. Sup?

On second thought you can't even buy their racks anymore, I heard from a guy over at onlyinboards.com that they might not even be making them anymore.. He said they've been sold out since Spring and haven't produced any more of them..

Wow. You are right rag. I was on the dbot5 website THIS MORNING and their racks were still on there. (unless I'm losing my mind)

I think it might be the end of dbot5 surf racks..
