    FAE Installed

Got the Fresh Air Exhaust last week and I am very pleased with the results. The reduction in noise is worth the purchase all by itself. Anyone thinking about getting one, I say don't hesitate. Everyone in our boat has had positive comments since the install.

Thanks for all of the previous input on the subject.

Primarily for the noise reduction but also with the plans to learn how to surf in the near future. No pics yet, but I will try to get some up this weekend. Yellow3, what is your hesitation?

Get 'em while they're hot. FAEs rule.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

just the fact that it gathers the exhaust and condenses it to one exit. I haven't gotten to look at one up close yet. the pictures don't help much for me. they say the downpipe is only as wide as the rudder and that seems like a small exit imo. but, i REALLY REALLY want one.

                  Yellow3,

THere has been oodles of experience with the FAE. It might take 1-2 MPH off of your top end, but other than that, there is no noticeable difference. The downpipe is wider than your rudder, and about as long, so there really is very little restriction to the exhaust flow.
                  Be excellent to one another.
