Does anyone make aftermarket board racks that work without the bungees. Like the mastercrafy ones. Those swiveling board racks are MINT. The way they just hold the boards in is a much cleaner approach.

MC holds the all rights to board racks like that.....Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

I agree that those MC racks look sweet! And they clamp down hard and are especially good for wakeboards since they clamp in between the two boots. I am not too sure if they work as well as strapped racks with wakesurfers/wakeskates though. My buddy has a 2008 MC X-15 with the swivel, clamping board racks and I brought my WP Bullet (which obviously did not fit) and a Hyperlite Broadcast (which did fit). The broadcast clamped into the racks just fine but at 25mph or so and going over some rollers the board bounced around in the rack quite a bit more than it does in our racks. Now it has never come close to falling out but it does bounce around (vertically) a little bit and *looks* a little iffy IMO.
That sucks that MC owns the rights.. maybe an aftermarket company, like dbot5, could make a better one.. or at least one that could hold boards up to 3"!!If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..
